Granulation and Pelletization Workshop Information
Objectives
The hands-on workshop on granulation and pelletization will cover commonly used granulation technologies, namely, high shear, fluid bed and roller compaction as well as the production of pellets by extrusion spheronization. There will be targeted lectures to cover the art and science of each of the granulation technologies and how good quality extrusion spheronization pellets can be fabricated. Hands-on practical on granulation and pelletization will be provided together with characterization of granules and pellets. Lectures will examine myriad issues related to agglomeration as well as scale-up. Lectures and practical will be provided by very experienced experts in the field. Highly recommended for those interested to learn more about agglomerative processes and how to evaluate the granulated products.
