The Visiometric Disintegration Tester (VDT) aims to help scientists and pharmacists perform accurate experiments on the disintegration time of fast orally disintegrating tablets (rapid ODT). The VDT is designed to allow scientists to observe the entire disintegration time with visual documentary proof of the event. VDT can only allow observation in real-time, but also to capture the process to observe it again & again. Integrated with a microscope & software, the VDT aims to allow scientist to not only observe the disintegration process in real-time, but also to capture the process to observe it again and again.

Accurately determining the duration of disintegration is difficult, especially for the fast ODT, when the duration is even down to 0.1 seconds.

Easy Set-up & Measurements

The VDT is a plug-and-play device; users only need to add in water to kick start the experiment. The entire disintegration experiment can be started within seconds.

Capture the images of the multiple disintegration experiments carried out as proof of your studies and research.
